Public participation in drug prevention and solution in Thailand

Abstract

This article aims to study the promotion of public participation in drug prevention and treatment. The study's results found that the promotion of public participation in drug prevention and treatment involves providing knowledge to the public by organizing workshops, and community meetings, and disseminating various information to help them gain knowledge, understand, and recognize the importance of participation to provide opportunities for the public to participate in promoting drug prevention approaches from the decision-making process on issues, needs, leading to various activities and mutual benefits after the activities have been carried out, as well as allowing the public to participate in the inspection, monitoring and evaluation of the development and promotion of public participation in drug prevention.
