Cybersecurity in Cloud Computing Environments
Main Article Content
Abstract
Cloud computing has transformed the way organizations store, process, and manage data by providing scalable, flexible, and cost-effective computing resources. However, the migration of critical data and applications to cloud environments has introduced significant cybersecurity challenges. Issues such as data breaches, insecure interfaces, insider threats, and shared responsibility complexities have raised concerns regarding confidentiality, integrity, and availability of cloud-based systems. This review presents a comprehensive analysis of cybersecurity issues in cloud computing environments. It examines cloud security threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors, reviews existing security mechanisms and frameworks, and compares defensive strategies across different cloud service models. The paper further discusses current challenges and emerging trends in cloud cybersecurity, providing insights into future research directions.
