Artificial Intelligence (AI) to Enhance Students' English Communication Skills

Abstract
This paper examines the role of AI in improving English communication skills, highlighting its benefits, challenges, and prospects. The study is grounded in linguistic and educational theories, illustrating how AI facilitates pronunciation improvement, vocabulary expansion, grammar correction, and contextual language use. Through an analysis of case studies of AI-driven language learning applications, including Duolingo, Grammarly and ChatGPT, the researcher demonstrates their effectiveness in enhancing student engagement and learning outcomes. Despite the transformative potential of AI in language education, ethical considerations, data privacy, and accessibility concerns are also stated. The paper concludes with recommendations for optimizing AI integration in language learning to ensure equitable and effective educational experiences for diverse learners.
