Abstract
his review is a critical analysis of the UK Patent 6380713 that presents a sophisticated AI-based chatbot kiosk that integrates the natural language processing (NLP), dual-mode voice and text, backend transactional, and embedded recommendation systems in a standalone, mobile hardware platform. Based on the empirical observations in the multi-sectoral research by Ramkumar Soundarapandian on chatbot deployments and conversational commerce (2020, 2024), the paper contextualizes the patented innovation in the larger context of the automated customer interaction and personalization trends. The review demonstrates that the patented solution successfully solves the typical integration, security, and user engagement issues, as well as considers the future trends like hybrid conversational models and emotion-aware AI, by comparing its technical architecture user experience strategies, and scalability provisions with those that are currently implemented in the industry.
