Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming traditional education into smart, adaptive, and personalized learning systems. Smart education systems integrate AI technologies such as machine learning, natural language processing, and data analytics to enhance teaching, learning, and administrative processes. This review paper analyzes the role of AI in smart education, highlighting its applications, benefits, challenges, and future scope. AI enables personalized learning, intelligent tutoring, automated assessment, and smart classroom environments. Despite its advantages, issues such as data privacy, ethical concerns, and technological dependency remain critical challenges.
