Cyber Security Least Significant Bit Image Steganography

Abstract

Growing cyber security attacks, assuring secure transmission of
data is now indispensable. This work suggests an innovative
method incorporating image steganography with blockchain
technology for improving data confidentiality, security, and
integrity. Steganography hides secret data within an image, while
blockchain provides immutability and protects from unauthorized
changes . Least Significant Bit (LSB) steganography is applied by
the proposed system for hiding data and Ethereum blockchain for
decentralized authentication. Experimental results verify the
effectiveness of this method of protection against tampering and
guaranteeing secure communication.
