Mentor Menti: A Web-Based Alumni Engagement and Mentorship Platform for Academic Institutions
Keywords:
Abstract
Alumni networks play a crucial role in strengthening academic institutions by fostering mentorship, career guidance, and long-term engagement between graduates and current students. However, many institutions rely on fragmented or outdated systems that limit meaningful interaction and effective management of alumni activities. This paper presents Mentor Menti, a comprehensive web-based platform designed to bridge the gap between students, alumni, faculty, and institutional administrators. The proposed system provides centralized features such as alumni directory management, mentorship matching, event organization, communication tools, and analytics-driven insights. Mentor Menti adopts a modular, scalable architecture with secure authentication and role-based access control to ensure data integrity and usability. By streamlining alumni engagement processes and enhancing mentorship opportunities, the platform aims to improve institutional connectivity, student career development, and alumni participation. The system is designed with extensibility in mind, allowing future integration of intelligent recommendation systems and mobile support.
