Abstract

As cyber threats grow increasingly sophisticated, traditional security measures struggle to keep pace. Artificial Intelligence(AI)offers powerful tools for real-time threat detection, prevention, and automated response. This paper explores theuseofAIincybersecurity, focusing on techniques such as machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, and behavioral analytics.Wediscuss their application in anomaly detection, intrusion prevention systems, threat intelligence, and automated defensemechanisms.Challenges such as adversarial attacks, interpretability, data limitations, and ethical concerns are also examined. Finally, wehighlightemerging trends and propose directions for future research, emphasizing explainable and lightweight AI solutions for securenetworks.
