Advancing Education through Augmented Reality Technologies
Main Article Content
Abstract
The educational landscape has undergone
a profound transformation, shifting from traditional
face-to-face interactions to virtual modes of teaching
and learning. Teachers are adapting to virtual
environments, guiding students without physical
presence or touch. Educational technology has
seamlessly integrated into school curriculums, with
Augmented Reality (AR) emerging as a pioneering tool
to elevate the allure and efficacy of education.
Augmented reality introduces an innovative approach to
education, fostering self-learning skills from an early
age. Given the dwindling attention spans of learners,
especially in classroom settings, AR allows students to
engage with content by seeing, observing, and
experiencing it firsthand. By incorporating augmented
reality into the educational framework, students are
provided with authentic learning environments,
facilitating comprehension in a simplified manner.
The immersive experiences facilitated by AR not only
enhance learning outcomes but also cultivate lifelong
learners. This paper delves into the significance of
integrating augmented learning into education, exploring
its potential, importance, various types, and applications
within educational contexts. Through the adoption of
augmented reality, education transcends traditional
boundaries, paving the way for a dynamic and engaging
learning experience.
